favorite pastime

The new favored (weekday) pastime is watching trucks go by, and naming them. It's very serious business.

We sit in the grass and he points at dump trucks, trailer trucks, cement trucks, and schools busses. He'll sit in rapt attention naming them as they go by until only cars are passing, and then he'll get up and walk away.

Until he hears another truck coming.

Does he use the names Jenny and William use? Those are the cutest. I wish I knew the name of that book. That little guy is so serious. And trucks are serious business. Liam had a fit the other day because I made him go in the house when a cement truck was sitting outside our front door. Fortunately, it was visible from his bedroom window.

I knew there must be a significant reason why I like Teddy and Liam so much. This seems to be the reason. For me, it hasn't tapered off after 29 more years of life...

Next time you to to Pepperell, you'll need to invite Jamie over so he and Teddy can sit on the porch and talk trucks.

I love that our boys are both obsessed with trucks! (are all little boys?) Makes me feel like they are still good friends even though they live so far away from each other.

And Becah the book is 'Tip Tip, Dig Dig'. It's a good one for trucks!
