FIFA

Did you notice the outfits on the England and US coaches?

England, whose coach is Italian, was wearing an snazzy three-piece suit with (I'm sure) handmade leather shoes and some stylin' glasses.

The US coach was wearing warm up pants and a Nike jacket.

(The New Yorker had a great article on Tim Howard.)

There's a great series of articles about the players' uniforms (kits, for you soccer geeks, like me). Fun read, and makes some of the dumb choices (beauty pageant, USA?) make sense. Chris's family loves the World Cup, doing my part to fit in by following the fashion :-) Glad you're also paying attention to the important things.

It's time for a new blog post. Thank you.

And I do love the World Cup. I just wish this time I had better access to it. Last time I had cable. Ooooooh. Nice.
